Go, Grow, Glow Leapians!

The Leap of Faith Learning Center celebrated the culmination of the Nutrition Month last July 29-30, 2010.  This year's theme focused on the children's wastong pagkain or eating the right food. The event was a reminder not only to the children, but to their parents as well, of the importance of eating nutritious foods, such as vegetables and fruits, for good health and for a strong mind and body.

In view of this, the occasion was marked by an art contest showcasing the Leapians' talents in fruit-and- vegetable hat-making and coloring for the pre-schoolers, and in fruit-and-vegetable mosaic making for the graders. The students, assisted by their teachers, also learned and practiced new skills in cooking, baking and preparing healthy food and drinks.

As for the parents, they too, took a big part in the activities. Some of them actively participated as judges of the contests; the others assisted the teachers and students in the preparations; while the rest of them were similarly enjoying as mere spectators.
